No person shall be eligible for active membership in this association unless he is a Chief of Police of a duly constituted municipal police department, Chief of Operations for the Sheriff’s Office, Chief of Investigations for the Prosecutor’s Office, Executive Assistant Prosecutor, or Chief of Campus Police Department, Chief of Port Authority Police of NY/NJ, Chief of NJ Transit within the County of Hudson as follows:

Bayonne, East Newark, Guttenberg, Harrison, Hoboken, Kearny, Jersey City, North Bergen, Secaucus, Union City, Weehawken, West New York, Steven Institute of Technology Campus Police Department, Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, Hudson County Sherriff’s Department and the Port Authority Police of NY/NJ, NJ Transit Police.

No person shall be eligible for associate membership in this association unless he should be a Deputy Chief of Police, Inspector of Police, County Sheriff and/or Undersheriff, Officer in Charge of a Police Department, Association Police Chaplain, Police Director or Public Safety Director of a municipal police department, the Commanding Officer of any organization engaged in law enforcement or Department of Corrections activities. A personal representative may be an Associate Member only upon being nominated by his police chief, or ACTIVE MEMBER of this association. Induction into this association shall be granted upon approval of both the Membership Committee and the Executive Board.
